Last night I was drawing some shapes in my legal tablet that I normally write my tasks in. The shapes seemed to come together as a man dancing. I like to imagine he’s too lost to care what onlookers are thinking. He’s just having a good time. All of us at some point would do good to just forget the onlookers and just have a good time.

This morning I scanned those in and adjusted the levels in Photoshop such that the only colors in my sketch were black and white. I traced the raster version of my sketch in illustrator and added a few things to it. My first impulse was to try to make an animation in Flash but in the end I decided to not go that route. Instead I exported that and opened again in Photoshop, this time adding a few photographic elements and shapes. I concluded with some stress here and there.
