Here is a sketch of a kitten in pen in my journal. In the small version I added a very light background and overlayed the drawing with blue in Photoshop. My aim was to make it look soft and focus on the textures. The textures aren’t obvious in the small version you see, but if you are interested in the pen strokes they are easily discernable in the huge version (.jpg, size: ~1000k).

The huge version also reveals that I need to clean off my scanner. You’ll see lots of hair and dust in the scan which isn’t in the drawing. Also you’ll see once again my Pilot pen is betraying me by leaving large random deposits of ink here and there. Maybe one day I’ll invest in a good pen.
